PARENTS OF THE LITTER

  • Dog Mama

We looked at hundreds of female puppies until we all agreed on her. She is a little more serious than Hermes, but she loves like no other. This fearless princess is always within arms reach: her priority is to be right beside a family member. She is also very protective, jumping in between the family and aggressive dogs on many occasions. She is the most affectionate baby ever, coming to us and gently touching us with her paw, asking us to kneel, so she can hug us and lick in the face. Her love to her family is immeasurable, and she acts as if she would eagerly give up her life for anyone in her family.

  • Dog Papa

It took us several years to find this beautiful boy who sparked our love for Bossy’s bloodline. Hermes is a perfect example of what everyone is raving about in a bully. An affectionate teddy bear, he loves to snuggle with his family and has an amazing ability to lull you into sleep. Hermes is incredibly smart and can quickly understand what you are trying to get him to do. He is also incredibly caring and watchful. He is an adorable goofball, and he loves making you smile and be playful. Hermes does not respond aggressively toward anyone in his family, even when bitten into the nose by the birds (he loves placing his snout right next to them, watching their every move).

ABOUT US & OUR LOVE FOR DOGS

Our story begins in the early 1800s when our great grandad retired from the military as a general and began breeding dogs and horses on his estate. Our family’s love for dogs continued through generations and we have been raising dogs for over 30 years.

XL American Bullies are phenomenally intelligent, attentive, and caring — to a human degree! — and to us our XLs are a part of the family, who for each moment together, for each affection, each expression of love and care return it all tenfold. Needless to say, XLs get extremely attached and need to stay with their family, so it is upon us to match each puppy to forever home.

We also care a great deal about matching our dogs’ diet with their developmental needs. XLs are very muscular and bone-heavy, and require heightened amount of protein, but excess of or wrong protein can cause severe health issues. We considered studies about canine digestion, causes of taurine deficiency in dogs, even factors driving musculoskeletal development of Kodiak bears and taurine deficiency in tigers in captivity (versus wild).

We used such information, our experience in raising dogs and observations of reactions of canine organisms to different formulations of food in response to specific nutritional needs. We learned a lot about protein assimilation by canines from caring for rescue pups with failing liver, auto-immune disorder and untreatable infections. It took us 12 years to develop an approach to nutrition that we feel is better and more complete for our canines. This is so crucial for each one of our XL American Bully babies through every life stage, especially during early development and pregnancy.

Our dogs are characterized by human-like eyes, rare platinum and champagne ghost tri coat, and massive musculoskeletal structure. They are purebred XLs of XXL size with overall regal and stoic, if not downright intimidating, look. We accept no compromises in bringing the right bloodlines to strengthen all the desired characteristics. In the near future we plan to introduce blue coat.
